Eastwood sophomore Julie Sabo was named Northern Buckeye Conference Field Event Athlete of the Meet after winning the pole vault. She did it by shattering a seven-year-old record, but the league’s award took her by surprise. “It was neat. I was not expecting to get it honestly, and just hearing my name was kind of shocking.
