Kenneth Raymond Hanson Ken was born August 15, 1947 in Shell Lake, Wisconsin to Raymond and Frances (Thurber) Hanson. Shortly after graduating high school in 1965, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, and served four years, including a deployment to Vietnam as an air traffic controller in 1968. He married Pamela Leckel December 9, 1967 in Spooner, Wisconsin. After his time in the military, he worked various jobs and finally settled on a 34-year career with the U.S. Postal Service. Shirley was always a busy person, working outside with her cattle, so hopefully she can put her feet up and dream about them. Dawn, her sister, lives in that area and her only brother, Jack Day, frequently visits. His son Owen owns Mont Nebo store.
