Man Arrested for Trespassing in Empty Oelwein Building Oelwein Police have arrested a Shellsburg man, for trespassing in an empty building. Shortly after 9am Thursday (March 4), officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the first block of South Frederick Avenue in Oelwein. Police discovered 37 year old Kurtis Wayne Shasteen of Shellsburg, in an unoccupied dwelling. Shasteen was taken into custody on a charge of Trespass.
