Seymour Residents Evacuated After Anhydrous Ammonia Release
By Rob Sussman May 1, 2021 9:40 PM SEYMOUR, WI (WTAQ) — A release of toxic anhydrous ammonia from a cheese plant in Seymour led to the evacuation of residents around the plant. Outagamie County officials say that the Seymour Fire Department was dispatched to the Emmi Roth Cheese plant at 124 East Bronson Road in Seymour for an airborne release of anhydrous ammonia. Emergency personnel began evacuating residents shortly confirming the release.
