In the morning. the isis militants had killed 44 prisoners by throwing grenades at them. that turned out to be government propaganda but it was in fact government security forces of police who shot the prisoners and isis was trying to get in to release them. it was the shiia guards killing the sunni prisoners. there's also reports of gun battles goes on around the oil refinery. iraq's largest oil refinery that produces 40% of the gasoline used by cars in this country. a very significant piece of infrastructure. we're expecting a statement by prime minister nuri al maliki, his weekly address. p...
