Among the local deserving projects announced today by the Currabinny-based global life sciences company are Cork City Missing Persons Search and Recovery; Covers of Comfort, a group who knit and crochet covers for those going through chemotherapy; and Shine Centre for Autism. Announcing the 49 recipients of the €50,000 Thermo Fisher Scientific Community Partnership Grant are Des Burke, Finance Director (second from left) and Carol-Anne Sheehy, Site Operational Excellence Lead (far right) of Thermo Fisher Scientific along with Chris O’Donovan and Denis Kiely from Cork City Missing Persons Search and Recovery, one of the chosen charities. ....
