(WTOC) - Traffic is back in a big way on Tybee Island, and city officials say they were shocked at how much of it they saw in March. City Manager Shawn Gillen says the traffic count is high every Saturday now like it is on holidays such as the 4th of July. He says while the city wasn’t prepared for this to be the case in March, they will be prepared moving forward.

UNICOI - Ellis Edward Murphy, age 83, of Unicoi, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Huntdale, NC, Ellis is a son of the late Edward Wesley and Dorothy (Tipton) Murphy. Mr. Murphy was a member of the Church of the Brethren, where he faithfully served as Deacon. Wanda Lou Inglis, 77, of Bolivar took her Heavenly flight on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020.  She was the wife of the late Denny Inglis.
