Mohawk seeks funds to design flood mitigation project for Minnowbrook
Times Telegram Nearly a year after a meeting with a group of homeowners, the village of Mohawk is seeking grant funding to design a project to alleviate flooding and erosion problems along a section of Minnowbrook Creek. Property owners along Fulmer and Marmet streets were asked last February to sign nonbinding letters of interest in the project. All would have to be in agreement in order for the village to apply for a grant, consultant Michele Palmer, of Templeton Landscape Architects, told them.
