this has been declared an unlawful assembly. a riot was declared between 200 and 300 people gathered in downtown portland at 9:00 last night and destruction soon followed. they sent a dumpster on fire and pushed it next to the justice center and then threw metal spikes and eggs and shot mortar fireworks at the police officers. at times they taunted police. video on social media shows a group of anarchists following behind a police vehicle and one person throws a crash can at the cops as they drove away from the crowd. the fire department put out the fire but then they destroyed stores and tagged several buildings with anti-police graffiti. in a recent protest police used a move called kettling to make a large amount of arrests. ....
