Week? >> the news cycle is never ending like 2016, 2017, 2018. a great time to be a reporter. conservatives yesterday were a little ambushed. leadership dropped on them the shutdown plan saying you have to vote for it or the government shuts down. no time for them to pull together and say are we the party of restraining spending and repealing of obamacare and the party of no amnesty? so far it looks like they'll strike out in all three of those. president trump has a lot going for him. the tax reform, the memo fights coming up. when he goes back to voters in november, how will he get these rep...

Shutdown plan. this is interesting, anderson. 1,056 members of the president's executive office staff would be furloughed in the event of a shutdown. that would leave only 659 employees here at the bhowhite house who would continue to work. they, under federal law, are only allowed to come to work on monday for four hours, and that is to basically plan for a shutdown, to sort of wrap things up and get out of dodge for a little while until this thing is resolved. so they're making contingency plans over here, anderson, for a government shutdown even though they're trying. they say they're tryin...
