Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal launches redesigned SVAYEM
In a bid to promote entrepreneurship among youths in the State, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday
Urges youths to prudently utilize seed money released under the scheme
GUWAHATI: In a bid to promote entrepreneurship among youths in the State, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday ceremonially launched the redesigned Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment (SVAYEM) Scheme with a budgetary outlay of Rs. 1000 crore by distributing cheques to few selected beneficiaries. Under the scheme, the Government would provide Rs. 50,000 each to two lakh youths as seed money to start business ventures.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sonowal urged the youths to make meaningful contribution for building an Atmanirbhar Assam by prudently utilizing the seed money provided by the government under the SVAYEM scheme. He called upon the beneficiaries to multiply the seed money from Rs. 50,00 ....
