The programme, launched on Friday (Apr 5), involves senior volunteers who assist with the implementation of activities at Active Ageing Centres.
Seniors will get better support at Active Ageing Centres with the help of a new volunteer pool. The plan is to deploy about 2,400 Silver Guardians by 2028. The aim is also to get other seniors to step up and support their peers. Sherlyn Seah has more.
