One month after announcing plans to acquire the Revenue- Virginius Mine, Silver X Mining has terminated its purchase agreement, citing concerns about continuing to fund the receivership process. The Canadian company announced in a news release May 19 it is “not willing to contribute further funds to the receivership process as we are not confident in the process and must ensure continued success of our core asset in Peru.” Alliance Management, the court-appointed receiver, withdrew its request for approval of the agreement in a court filing Monday.
