Staff Shortlists 3 Possible Locations To Move Simcoe Skate Park
Parks staff have completed a review of locations to move the Simcoe Skateboard Park. During the 2021 budget deliberation, Parks Department staff were directed to find a municipally owned location to move the Skate Park in order to eliminate approximately $13,000 per year in rental fees for the current location at the Fairgrounds. The following three spots were highlighted as ideal locations. 1. Adjacent to the East Parking Lot (86 Argyle Street) near Simcoe Composite School. 2.
