UTICA, N.Y. – Handshake.City in Utica has donated to another local business through its Be A Neighbor Fund, which was launched in February.
The fund raises money through community and corporation donations, to help small businesses recover from the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The latest check for $3,000 was presented Thursday to Irwin’s Fine Food, located on Genesee Street in Utica. The restaurant will get $1,000 payments each month over the next three months, sponsored by First Source Federal Credit Union.
