Chairlift cable detachment at Brian Head leads to hourslong evacuation; no injuries reported
The resort said in a news statement that no one was injured when the lift broke nor during evacuation. It took two to three hours to evacuate 106 skiers and snowboarders from the high-speed, four-person detachable lift, according to the resort and reports from guests.
