Delhiites can now donate their shoes and toys at a bank that has been inaugurated by top officials of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) in Subhash Nagar. Now, anyone can donate toys and shoes at this bank while those who need them can take them from here.
Deputy Commissioner of SDMC Sonal Swaroop and Chairman of West Zone Col. B K Oberoi inaugurated Delhi’s first Shoe Bank in Subhash Nagar. In addition to this, SDMC’s West Zone also inaugurated a Toy Bank for children. Dy Commissioner Sonal Swaroop said that keeping in view of Swachhta Survekshan-2021, SDMC has taken a unique initiative to open the Shoe Bank. ....
