Los Angeles County's public health director said today she was confident indoor bars, nightclubs and breweries -- and their customers -- will comply with a new order requiring all patrons and employees to have proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Los Angeles County will impose new COVID-19 vaccine mandates next month, requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test at outdoor mega-events of 10,000 people or more, including sporting events, concerts and even theme parks.
The new ordinance will not affect restaurants, but the city "strongly recommends" they require vaccination, too.
The order will require patrons and employees to have at least one dose of vaccine by Oct. 7 and receive their second by Nov. 4.
