Supermarket Sainsbury’s has launched a new electric vehicle (EV) charging business in a bid to “provide an exciting new service” for shoppers, in tandem with the electrification of its own fleet.
Sainsbury’s has today launched Smart Charge, a brand-new, dedicated EV charging business that will give drivers access to ultra-rapid EV charging points
The new, ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging business will have 750 charging bays by the end on the year.
Called 'Smart Charge', more than 20 UK stores already have devices installed. Some 100 UK supermarkets will have them before the end of the year.
