Clip of Indonesian presidential candidate's speech doctored to add chant for opponent
A clip of a speech by Indonesian presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto in January 2024 has been altered to add audio of people chanting the name of another candidate, Anies Baswedan, giving a false impression that the crowd in Prabowo's campaign rally supported his opponent. Original footage of Prabowo's campaign rally published by Indonesian media shows there was no pro-Anies chant during the event.
