Dropping south and east. we've got the cold air in place. we've got a new snowstorm developing. this will just be a midwestern affair. the moisture is coming in, bringing snow, quite a bit, milwaukee, chicago, flint, detroit. but as this moisture moves eastward it's going to move eastward on monday when temperatures in the northeast will still be about 40 or 50. so it will be a rainmaker for the northeast. so, the timing in the northeast, the moisture comes in, but the cold air comes in a day later. it could have been a snowstorm but it will just be a rainstorm and then the cold air comes in. ...

Situation very carefully. this storm not a big deal, although it's kind of sitting and spinning off the carolina coastline. they'll get some showers and some of that will wrap around into parts of eastern georgia. the main story today is the warm air that continues to filter in from the south. how warm? everywhere from maine to california getting into tact with record highs yesterday. 91 at wild animal park east of san diego. 85 degrees in ucla. 73 in billings, montana. 71, mile city. caribou, maine, getting into it with 54 degrees. we're going to continue to see, i think, some record breaking...
