An attack earlier this week by north korea. now, that comes after the north warned that this weekend s u.s./south korean military drills are pushing the korean peninsula to the brink of war. today the u.s. military commander in south korea is touring the ravaged island to show solidarity with seoul. three teenage boys who spent almost two months adrift in the south pacific are now safe and heading home. the boys from the new zealand territory had been given up for lost. their parents reported them missing in october. an extensive air and sea search had failed to find them, but then yesterday, they were spotted by a new zealand fishing boat. one of my crew members was standing watch at the time, and he noticed that he could see something floating on the horizon off our bows. and as we drew closer, we realized it was a small craft, and then when we drew even more close, we realized there were people inside this craft. they were in need of some assistance. ....
