Room In the Inn prepares to help the homeless on Christmas Eve
In its 35 years of serving Nashville's homeless, Room in the Inn has never turned anyone away on Christmas Eve. And, though this year may be the most challenging Room in the Inn executive director Rachel Hester is determined to do the same this Christmas Eve. "I don't want to turn anyone away any day," she said. "But we are Room in the Inn and it is Christmas. A lot of what (the homeless) are experiencing is very similar to the scriptures. Like Mary and Joseph, they are knocking on a lot of doors and hearing a lot of 'no's"'
