Ashtyn was a high level athlete. she was even at five. and in an instant, your world flips and your healthy five-year-old competitive cheerleader/softball player has a brain tumor. my thoughts were, i'm going to lose my daughter. and the physician was like, "your best option is st. jude." coming here and receiving treatment that was life saving for our child, and knowing that that treatment would be of no cost to us, was a huge weight lifted. you can be present 100% here for ashtyn. that meant the world to us.
