Govt selects Chennai-based IT firm as first pvt contractor for email, desktop utilities
Chennai-based business solutions provider Zoho has been selected by the Indian government to handle email services and other internet-based office products. This is the first time a private contractor has been chosen to manage government digital services. Zoho will provide secure email solutions, productivity tools, and help with the migration of existing emails. The move comes as the government aims to improve cybersecurity and address legacy issues within its IT department.
