Some of the victims in Monday night’s shooting rampage in Denver and Lakewood have been identified by their friends and families.

Following a shooting spree Monday evening that ended with five people dead, including the suspect and three injured in Denver and Lakewood, family and friends are starting to share their beloved memories of the victims.

Many of the victims killed or wounded in Monday shooting spree were connected to tattoo shops. The suspect was shot and killed after a confrontation with police.

After COVID-19 hit and the city's 200-plus tattoo shops were closed, then finally permitted to reopen, Cardenas's fellow shop owners reached out to her about best practices for staying safe during a pandemic.
