West Grey council is throwing its support behind a proposed battery farm south of Hanover.  Grant Johns and Bogdan Dinu of the Halton-based Shift Solar Inc. made a delegation at the West Grey council meeting Tuesday morning and presented their plan to build a 100-megawatt battery energy storage system (BESS) on 40 acres of leased farmland just off Highway 10 next to the Sulphur Springs Conservation Area.
