President, PM call for materializing Sonar Bangla of Bangabandhu

DHAKA, April 16, 2021 (BSS) – President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today urged the countrymen to make effective role in building non-communal, hunger and poverty free, developed and prosperous ‘Sonar Banglad’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
They made the call in separate messages on the eve of the historic Mujibnagar Day to be observed tomorrow.
In his message, President Hamid extended his heartiest greetings and congratulations to the countrymen and all Bangladeshis staying abroad on the occasion of the historic Mujibnagar Day.
He said April 17 is a memorable day in the long path of struggle for independence of the Bangalee nation. ....
