Middleboro Rotary presents MCCAM with thank you gift Standard-Times The auction was successfully broadcast just days before the statewide quarantine went into effect last March. Rotarians are currently working out details for a socially-distant Cable TV fund raising auction later this year. The current climate makes the planning challenging, but auction chairman Kevin Schmidt and club president Quack Quackenbush are confident that they can think outside the box and come up with a format that will be exciting and safe for all concerned. Auction items will include donations from dozens of local businesses that support the Rotary charitable and educational programs. This May marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Middleboro Rotary Club and the members are looking forward to celebrating with the best auction ever.
