City receives OTIS awad

Wetaskiwin Mayor Tyler Gandam shows the OTIS award that was presented to The City of Wetaskiwin by the Battleriver Watershed Alliance for its municipal sustainability.
The OTIS Award recognizes organizations, businesses, and individuals in the Battle River and Sounding Creek Watersheds who are outstanding in stewardship. The City was recognized for the low impact development utilized when reconstructing Main Street, the bioswails used in different locations within the City, and for the Plastic Checkout Bag Ban Bylaw.
