The Golden Fire, which was sparked Sunday along Highway 101 between Ukiah and Willits, is expected to be fully contained by Friday, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection reported.
While drift smoke was expected to blanket much of the Ukiah Valley on Wednesday and Thursday, by Friday a few rain showers could wash some of the haze away, the National Weather Service reported.
