Represented by the Deputy Governor, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi, the governor hailed the contribution of the Church to peace, stability, social and economic development of the country. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the courtesy visit was part of activities to mark the first quarter meeting of CAN chairmen from the six state of Southwest as well as maiden meeting of the zonal Exco inaugurated in February. Makinde first opened fire on the legal adviser of his party, accusing him of professional misconduct on the crisis in the South-West zone and in Lagos State wing of the party. Firing back, Enoidem says the allegations by Governor Makinde against him were misplaced and needless. He is also rejecting accusations that PDP or him instituted a case as plaintiffs and defendants and proceeded to instruct legal representations for both parties, describing the allegations as “totally incorrect, false and gross misrepresentations of the facts.” ....
