The objective of the yatra, ‘Desh Bachao, Samajwadi Cycle Yatra’, which started from Prayagraj on August 9, is to reach out to people in 403 Assembly constituencies across all 75 districts in the state.
Named 'Desh Bachao, Samajwadi Cycle Yatra', the cycle yatra, which is to be held in two phases, is being led by Samajwadi Lohia Vahini national president Abhishek Yadav.
Party leaders said the yatra was aimed at raising awareness among the public about the SP’s work in the past, while highlighting basic issues such as “inflation, unemployment and broken healthcare system” in UP.
