"Joint allocation of transmit-receive resource for MIMO-STAP" by Hongyan Wang, He Zhou et al.

Aiming to address the issue of target detection performance degradation due to limited resources of airborne multiple-in multiple-out (MIMO) radar, a joint allocation method of transmit-receive spatial-temporal resources is developed to ameliorate the detection performance of MIMO radar-based space-time adaptive processing (STAP). A MIMO-STAP model containing space-time resources to be configured is firstly constructed. Then, with the criterion of maximizing the output signal-to-clutter-noise ratio (SCNR), a problem to jointly design the transmitting and receiving elements, transmitting pulses...

"REDUCED-DIMENSION SPACE-TIME ADAPTIVE PROCESSING IN THE PRESENCE OF MU" by Lei Xie, Pei Li et al. - Vimarsana News

"REDUCED-DIMENSION SPACE-TIME ADAPTIVE PROCESSING IN THE PRESENCE OF MU" by Lei Xie, Pei Li et al.

This paper considers the best channel selection for reduced-dimension space-time adaptive processing (STAP) in the presence of multiple targets. An algorithm based on semidefinite programming (SDP) is proposed to achieve the best channel selection by optimizing the worst case of the detection performance of the different targets. Compared with some existing algorithms which only consider the single-target case, the proposed algorithm can provide considerable performance improvements for detecting several different targets. Simulations are conducted for validating the proposed method and demons...
