The DA-led multiparty coalition intends to remove Mncedi Ndzwanana as speaker and replace him with ActionSA councillor Kholofelo Morodi.
For the second time in less a month, the Democratic Alliance (DA)-led multiparty coalition in Tshwane will on Wednesday attempt to remove Speaker Mncedi Ndzwanana through a motion of no confidence.
The motion was brought through a petition that was signed by a majority of 108 councillor from the Democratic Alliance coalition.
The majority of coalition councillors have now signed a petition for the reconvening of a special council sitting to consider the no confidence vote.
This will be the DA-led coalition party’s second attempt to remove the City of Tshwane speaker Mncedi Ndzwanana.
