Alleged Drug Dealer Assaults Police Officer   TYE, TX – A 28-year-old Tye man is facing serious charges after he assaulted a police officer. According to the Tye Police Department, William Ryan Pierce was arrested after a four-hour standoff with law enforcement. The standoff began around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday after Pierce refused to exit his home and hid in the attic of the home.
