Flights services from the Kolkata airport resumed on Tuesday after remaining suspended for 21 hours in view of cyclone Remal, an official said on Monday.
SpiceJet chose to withdraw the appeal and pursue the case before the single judge. However, the court granted SpiceJet time till June 17 to return the aircraft and engines, the airline was to originally return them to the lessor by May 28.
The case dates back to early 2015, when Singh, who owned the airline earlier, bought it back from Maran after it was grounded for months due to resource crunch.
