Last week, Eugene/Springfield Fire received its first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. They got 1,000 doses. Acting Fire Chief Chris Heppel said they immediately began administering shots to first responders. Staff with ESF are trained to administer vaccinations.
