Spartanburg at Christmas: Family-friendly things to do in the county
Help honor veterans during the holidays at American Legion Post 28, 84 W. Park Drive in Spartanburg. Join the fun Saturday, Dec. 12 for an Operation Holiday Salute Parade. Restored military vehicles, hot rods, classics, muscle, trucks, and rat rods will lead a mini Christmas parade by area nursing homes. Season's greetings decorated household vehicles are also welcome. Organizers will be dropping off gift baskets and holiday cards for veteran patients during the parade. Registration is 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
