HURRICANE DAMAGE UPSETS POLAR SURVEY PLANS
Nightmare Battle to Save Planes
A 120m.p.h. hurricane, which battered Australia s Polar base at Mawson, has disrupted the planned programme of scientific research and coastal exploration.
