fighting in the capital khartoum. more than 2,000 british nationals have been flown out so far, and in the last couple of hours, the uk government has announced there will be an extra flight, for more evacuations, leaving from port sudan tomorrow. we ll have the latest on that later, but first, our africa correspondent, andrew harding, has been speaking to some of those trying to get out. we are crossing the red sea, heading towards the coast of sudan. a night time rescue mission organised by saudi arabia s navy. it s not quite dunkirk, but many warships and ferries are now involved in this giant evacuation. tight security as the lights of port sudan gleam on the horizon. we head to shore on a smaller tug boat, at the edge of a country consumed by conflict. we are just coming in now to port sudan. it s a huge place and a big city. it is the focal point now of the evacuation effort for the whole country. we are told the area around it has been secured for now. 0n sudanes ....
