Ramanagar: Kumaraswamy seeks forgiveness for breaking his word, offers 'Thappu Kanike' Sun, Jan 17 2021 10:50:25 AM Daijiworld Media Network - Ramanagar (MS) Ramanagar, Jan 17: Former chief minister and MLA of Channapatna constituency H D Kumaraswamy, along with family on Saturday January 17 offered 'Thappu Kanike' of Rs 101 at the Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Jalamangala village of the taluk. In 2004, when H D Kumaraswamy had contested from Ramanagar constituency, villagers had raised slogans that Kumaraswamy would be the next chief minister of Karnataka. Responding to the sloganeering of the villagers, Kumaraswamy had said that he would not take chief minister's or ministerian post. He had even made the same statement in front of the deity.
