Pavendhan has been actively involved in this initiative for the past five years. He spends weekends clearing encroachments on footpaths caused by shop owners and street vendors. “I started creating awareness among street vendors and shop owners in 2018. I came across many trees damaged by nails and stapler pins used for keeping pamphlets and notices on trees.
