Denise Burd, 61, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021, after a long battle with heart and kidney disease at Residential Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., she moved to the Wyoming Valley at a very young age. She worked as a nursesâ aide for over 20 years. Denise lived her life to the fullest and fought until the very end. Denise did not allow her health to stop the love she had for the family. She was always happy especially when spending time with her girls and grandchildren.
