A series of community projects around Caithness and Sutherland are counting themselves lucky after winning funding awards through the National Lottery
Over £500K of funding has been allocated for 14 community projects in Caithness as well as the delayed Whitechapel toilets in Wick.
The campaign by Home-Start Caithness to help keep local families warm this winter has been boosted by over £800 as a result of a Halloween fun day.
Home-Start Caithness hopes that local businesses and members of the public will get in touch to sponsor a family so they can receive a "warm parcel".
