U of I Extension to offer Think Spring Gardening Series

FREEPORT The University of Illinois Extension will offer the virtual Think Spring Gardening Series on Tuesdays and Thursdays from March 16 through April 1 via Zoom.
Sessions will include Designing a Garden to Attract Birds, from Michael P. Ward, on March 16; Lessons from the Red Oak Rain Garden, from Eliana Brown and Layne Knoche, on March 18; Bulb Lasagna – Creating Layers, from Mark Dwyer, on March 23; 50 Shapes of Shade, from Martha Smith, on March 25; Succulent Wreaths, from Bruce Black, on March 30; and Starting Seeds Successfully, from Grant McCarty, on April 1.
Each presentation will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The series will be held in place of the annual in-person gardening days, which will not be held this year due to the ongoing pandemic.
