Nigerian Medical Association Threatens To Withdraw Services In Enugu State Over Kidnapping Of 10 Doctors

Rising from an Emergency General Meeting (EGM), the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) has decried the abduction of 10 doctors in Enugu State and threatened to withdraw its services if the situation does not improve. The association in a communique issued after the meeting jointly signed by NMA Enugu State Chapter chairman, Dr Celestine Ugwoke, and General Secretary, Rtn Dr Sunday Okafor, stated that the members would embark on an industrial action if the state government and security agencies failed to take action to secure the Medical and Dental Council workers in the state.
