The fire is producing multiple fire spots and being driven by strong winds, Arizona State Forestry said.
"Fire is not a season anymore. It's a year-round concern," said State Forester Laura McCarthy.
Rain has helped to lift the burn ban that was issued on June 24, 2022. Rutherford County Fire & Rescue are asking that residents remember that while State Forestry permits are not required until October, the types of materials that may be burned remains the same (i.e. natural materials only).
