The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, and others risk jail terms for flagrant disobedience to a judgement of the State High Court. SaharaReporters reported on August 4, 2023, that an Enugu State High Court sitting in Agbani in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state had awarded N1 million against the Enugu State Commissioner of Police and 10 others for the illegal arrest and detention of one Chief Francis Nnamani and three of his family members.
