The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun Joint Campus Committee (JCC) and the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) have advised Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to change the method of recruiting personnel into the State Security Network, popularly known as Amotekun corps.
Worried by the worsening herdsmen crisis in parts of the state, the Ogun State Government has commenced the recruitment of Amotekun operatives. In a notice on Thursday, the government asked qualified individuals interested in joining the State Security Network to submit their applications.
